You can now give your tips to Bartlesville Crime Stoppers and still remain anonymous via the internet or over your cellular telephone.  To give a tip over the internet go to www.bcrimestoppers.com and click on the "GIVE A TIP" link.  There will be a form to fill out.  All of the information that identifies the computer is stripped and encrypted so no-one will know the identity of the sender.  Also, this will allow for two-way communication between the Police and the informant without either knowing who they are speaking with.  The same scenario applies to the text tips.

Just dial 274637 in the phone number area and text the message "tips620" with a space and then your message.  Example:  tips620 a crime has taken place. Then just hit send as normal and the text tip show up at crimes stoppers.  In both cases you are given a number to identify yourself with.  Never give your name or phone number to Crime Stoppers.

In the first month of service one crime has been solved and a reward has been paid out.

On April 4, 2009 a fund raising breakfast will be held at the Bartlesville Masonic Lodge on Washington Blvd. from 7am-11:00am.  Tickets are $5.00 and $6.00 at the door.  Proceeds benefit the local Crime Stoppers.  Come and eat a great breakfast and support Crime Stoppers!
